The purpose of this organization shall be to promote knowledge and engagement in politics and government at all levels; discuss and debate policy and societal issues in a safe environment; promote life-long civic engagement through activism, advocacy, volunteering, and lobbying; and to promote progressive ideals and candidates.
Members will get the opportunities to discuss politics and political ideas in a safe environment, help lead and engage in civil debate, learn of and help inform others on the governmental system, engage with representatives, opportunities to help register voters in partnership with the SSA, and opportunities to engage with real pollical actions in the Democratic Party.
