SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Should We Remove Racist Monuments?
LOCATION:Online Event
URL:https://connect.uwstout.edu/rsvp?id=2253290
DESCRIPTION:There have been increasing calls in recent years to remove Confederate and other purportedly racist monuments. Is this something we should be doing as a society? \n\nJoin us for a civil and informative philosophical debate on the topic. Dr. Travis Timmerman (Seton Hall University) will defend the view that we should remove these monuments. Dr. Daniel Demetriou (University of Minnesota, Morris) will defend the view that we shouldn't. The debate will be held virtually. \n\nMeeting Link: https://teams.microsoft.com/l/meetup-join/19%3ameeting_YTg1Yjg4ZDAtMDQ1MC00ZTY1LTlhODUtZDhjZGYwNGVkOTA4%40thread.v2/0?context=%7b%22Tid%22%3a%22b71a81a3-2f95-4381-9b89-c62343a66052%22%2c%22Oid%22%3a%226a9c8fd9-9785-41ab-9752-91f9ddcec9b2%22%7d\n---\nEvent Details: https://connect.uwstout.edu/rsvp?id=2253290
