2023 UW-Stout Homecoming

Join us for the first every Homecoming Craft Fair! Support current UW-Stout students by purchasing their handmade crafts on Friday, Oct 13th from 4 pm - 7 pm.

Blue Devil Productions is also proud to present Dawson Hollow as music entertainment for the event! Dawson Hollow is an American Indie-Folk-Rock band formed in 2016 by 5 siblings who have been touring, writing and making music together since 2001. Dawson Hollow's unique brand of entertainment fuses the cinematic colors of pop, nostalgic string elements of Americana and iconic 5-part blood harmonies. Based out of the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, Dawson Hollow's high energy performances offer supporting lyrics that carry a hopeful undertone.

This event is for any one or team who wants to get creative with chalk. You can pick up your chalk from the Involvement Center Desk. You can chalk from October 12th from 10am - 5pm. If it rains, the competition will be held on October 13th from 10am - 5pm. Once you finish your drawing, take a picture of it and post it on social media using the hashtag #renai-stout and you can also tag bdpstout in the post. Judging will take place at 5pm on October 12th, and the winning design will get featured on BDP and campus social media.

Blue Devil Productions is proud to present John Cassidy for our free Homecoming Comedy Event. John Cassidy is a comedian, magician, and Guinness World Record® Holder. He has appeared numerous times on television as either a stand-up comedian, magician or as a Guinness Book of Records® celebrity. He has been a guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, NBC's Today Show and the CBS Early Show. Though known for his Guinness World Records®, he is sought after for his stage show which he has presented across the US and internationally, performing for family, corporate and collegiate audiences. He is a frequent performer aboard Disney Cruise Lines and has been honored to perform at the White House five times for three different presidents. Other well know venues have included The Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA, Foxwoods Casino, the Golden Nugget Las Vegas, the Flamingo Las Vegas and The Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, CA.

Event is first come, first serve, and will be held in the Great Hall.

Register for the Homecoming Spirit Award Competition to Compete

Construction begins at NOON on Tuesday, October 10th and continues until 3:30pm on the MSC South Lawn. Soapbox cars will be judged at the MSC before they are transported to the race site (The Intersection of Wilson Ave & 2nd Street W). All students and public members are welcome to watch construction and the race at 4 pm.

Join us for our first Homecoming event! We'll be giving away free prizes to our Bingo winners, and all the prizes run with our theme Renaissance and Glow in the Dark! The event is first-come first-serve with attendees.

Want a fun challenge? Blue Devil Productions has hidden a medallion somewhere on campus. Use the hint that will be posted on our Homecoming Website to find clues around campus to help you find the medallion. There will be a prize awarded to the first person to find the medallion.

Food Drive Battle is a weeklong competition designed to provide food donations for the Stout Student Food Pantry on campus. The goal is to bring the most requested items at the end of the week. Crates will be provided for students to place their donations in the involvement center.

A Blue Devil Productions event for Homecoming week! Share your pride for the University of Wisconsin – Stout with a Banner of your making! Decorate the banner to match Stout Spirit, our Homecoming theme, and your team! Points are awarded based on design judging.

If you register for the Homecoming Spirit Award, a fabric will be provided for you to pick up in the Involvement Center.
