Retail Merchandising & Apparel Design Career Fair (University of Minnesota)

Attend this virtual career fair to connect with organizations for full-time opportunities and internships.  At the fair, you'll be able to: explore career fields and opportunities you may be interested in pursuing, engage with employers about their organizations and what kind of skills they are seeking for their roles, as well as who to get in touch with to ask questions or learn more, and make an impression that can help you to stand out in the job or internship application process.

Prepare a resume, have your personal commercial ready, and dress professionally. You must register on GoldPASS powered by Handshake to attend this virtual event.  Students and alumni from UW-Stout, St. Catherine University, and the University of Minnesota are welcome at the fair.

Fields represented:  Product development, product design, buying, visual merchandising, store management, planning, creative design, and technical design.

To Attend the Fair

1. Create/update your profile on GoldPASS powered by Handshake. Some employers have set qualifications to define which students can register for their sessions. To ensure you qualify for employer sessions, make sure you have filled out the following fields on your profile: School year, major and GPA, which can be found on your profile and work authorization status, which can be found on the privacy & settings page
2. Register for the fair
3. Sign up for group sessions and 1:1 sessions with employers ahead of time

UW-Stout students can use Handshake (part of their Open University).
