Society of Manufacturing Engineers - Cheese Factory Tour

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers are going on a tour to the Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery where they produce over 180,000 pounds of cheese daily! We will be able to see the live production of their cheese, whey powder, light packaging department, and waste water plant. Should be a fun and interesting tour learning about one of the staples of Wisconsin culture. Transportation will be provided, with the bus departing from UW-Stout at 12:30 outside of Fryklund. The tour is open to all majors, so make sure to ask your friends to come along!
