Flyer for Spring 2024 Spanish Film Fest: Me llamo Gennet

Please join us to celebrate Women’s History Month and watch Me llamo Gennet (“My Name is Gennet”), a 2018 film based on a true story about Gennet Corcuera played by herself. Gennet was born in Ethiopia but was adopted at seven years old and relocated to Spain. Snack on free popcorn and watch her journey as she becomes the first deaf-blind person to earn a university degree in Europe.

To include a wider audience, the film in Spanish will have subtitles in English.
