Stout Cycling Club - Factory Tour - Quality Bike Products, MN

Join the UW-Stout cycling club as we venture to Bloomington, Minnesota for a tour of the Quality Bike Products (QBP) headquarters! QBP is North America's largest distributor of bicycle products. They work with some of the most important brands in cycling such as Shimano and Sram. The tour will include an overview of their distribution facility as well as the potential to see how they assemble wheels in-house. In addition to the tour, we plan on stopping at the flagship REI store!

$15 FEE REQUIRED for attendance. We have a few members who will drive cars to the tour location, so a $15 fee will need to be paid by all attendees to the driver of their car to cover gas. Also, bring a packed dinner or money as we will likely stop somewhere for food on the way home!

We will be meeting on the bridge between JTC and FH on North campus at 11:00am, Friday, March 31st. The planned return time is 8pm that evening.

Please RSVP as soon as possible if you can join us for the tour! We will be sending permission forms to everyone who signs up, which must be completed 2 weeks before we leave for the tour.
