This week we are going to learn about the science behind kombucha and how fermentation can make things taste better and healthier. We will help participants with the recipe, no experience is required!

At this event, we will also be having a guest speaker Duey Fimreite to talk about his internship position. Here is a short bio of him:
"Duey Fimreite is a Research & Development Manager at South
Chicago Packing LLC, the largest animal fat processor in the
United States. Duey has over 35 years of experience in R&D and
new product development, with multinational PG companies,
multinational ingredient suppliers and small to midsize family run
companies. Duey has two U.S. patents and a third in progress. He
has a Food Science degree from the University of Wisconsin
Stout and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University. Besides his
passion for food science, you will find Duey playing golf, cheering for the
Wisconsin Badgers, supporting local artists, and talking stock investing and the importance of financial literacy."
