WiSys Quick Pitch is a research-focused student pitch competition open to all academic disciplines. The event, open to undergraduates or graduates, helps student researchers hone skills to effectively communicate their research to a general audience. Participants have 3 minutes to impress a panel of judges. The competition takes place the morning of Research Day, and the winners are announced at an Awards Ceremony in the afternoon the same day. The top presenters win cash prizes and secure a spot at the Quick Pitch State Final.

Participants in the competition must register by March 31 at wisys.org/quickpitch, but anyone can attend without registration to watch the competition.
