International Holocaust Remembrance Day is held every year on January 27th in memorial to the six million Jewish victims of genocide perpetrated by Nazi Germany along with the eleven million other victims murdered by the Nazi regime. Preserving the memory of this historic event is integral to the ongoing global resistance to antisemitism and ensuring that a similar event never occurs again.
Join third generation Holocaust survivor and UW Stout professor Dr. Jacob Hellman at 5PM on January 26th as he shares his family's Holocaust story for this year's Holocaust Remembrance Day.
You can also attend virtually in Teams vis this link
Co-hosted by the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office and the Involvement Center.
If you are an individual with a disability and need accommodations, please contact Josie Koenigs at koenigsj@uwstout.edu at least two days in advance.
