Society of Manufacturing Engineers will be taking a facility tour of Nordson EDI on Friday, February 18th at 11:00 AM in Chippewa Falls, WI. Nordson EDI builds custom-engineered extrusion die systems that are used to create very thin sheets of plastic. On our tour, we will learn about the process in which extrusion dies are manufactured from start to finish. Nordson's state of the art facility is only two years old and contains impressive machining, grinding, and finishing technology. We will get the opportunity to learn how Nordson effectively utilizes this technology to manufacture high quality products from a current manufacturing engineer at the Nordson facility. This tour is sure to be an impressive display of manufacturing capability and will also give you the opportunity to network with a well respected employer.
