Hello all! This Saturday (December 4th) at 1:00 PM NAC will be hosting a workday at Galloway Creek. The Riparian corridor has come a long way since we began working in early September. Most of the trash has been cleaned up, tons of invasive have been cutdown and hauled out, and the city has finally been able to install a temporary bridge over the creek to allow for the use of heavy machinery. We'll be doing more invasive species removal. Thanks to the bridge, we'll only have to cut and stack the invasive, rather than drag and pile them on top the hill. Thus, we should be in for a slightly easier workday. We'll be meeting at the corner of 4th St. W and 16th Ave. W, where we've been working this entire semester.
