Please join us for this week's meeting of the Congressional Committee!

The Congressional Committee is the standing committee of the University Student Senate responsible for engaging in legislative outreach. The Congressional Committee frequently reviews proposed local, state, and federal legislation that affect the students of UW-Stout. The Congressional Committee also monitors action from the UW System and the Board of Regents that has a student impact. Finally, the Congressional Committee promotes civic engagement to students through bringing representatives to campus and promoting voting when elections occur.

The Congressional Committee is chaired by the Director of Legislative Affairs and is comprised of senators of the Stout Student Association and students at-large. The Congressional Committee is advised by UW-Stout Chief of Staff and Legislative Liaison Kristi Krimpelbein. If you any questions or want to attend a meeting please contact ssalegaffairs@uwstout.edu

The agenda will be posted at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting and can be accessed here.  Anyone in need of accommodations should contact the Director of Communications in advance at ssacommunications@uwstout.edu.
