Join us for a discussion with Dr. Andre Ghenciu! We are delighted to have him present to our group.
Here is his abstract: " How do we change and transform the world? One way is to empower women to succeed in math and science. In this presentation I will talk about my journey as a math student and teacher in communist and post-communist Romania; how I decided to come to the US and become a math college professor. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of confidence in succeeding in math and science and in general how we can build and instill such confidence. Many stories from my 8-year journey at Stout will be presented in a funny way, I hope ­ƒÖé"
